Why won't the Windows 10 taskbar hide when in full screen?

Due to some reason, the taskbar at the bottom of the screen stays showing when I go into fullscreen mode for playing video or something else. It seemed to go back to normal but around a week it reverted back and now won’t disappear in Full-screen.

Can anyone help me to fix the issue? I would be eternally grateful!

Well, this is an issue related to Windows Explorer, where it gets into the mode where the taskbar is always on top even in full-screen mode.

  • And to fix it Press CTRL + ALT+ DEL key and go to Task Manager
  • Then click on Windows Explorer > use the right mouse menu to restart it.

Now check if this works for you. But if not then there are many other manual solutions as well. To know more read this: https://www.fixwindowserrors.biz/blog/resolve-windows-10-taskbar-not-hiding
